"Work is love made visible" Kahil Gibran
"For where your
treasure is there your heart will be also" (from the Bible,
Matthew 6:21)
"If you sprinkle
enough bread on water sooner or later a fish will bite, but
you never know which fish and when. But certainly a fish will
bite. If you never sprinkle bread on water a fish will never
bite." (Anon)
“All that we are is the result of what we have thought: it is founded on our thoughts, it is made up of our thoughts. If man speaks or acts with an evil thought, pain follows him. For never does hatred cease by hatred: hatred ceases by love; this is an eternal law”
The Dhammapada, Chapter 1, Verses 1,5
“Many highly intelligent people are caught in the intelligence trap. They take a position on a subject and then use their thinking skill solely to support that position
“The more able they are to support the position, the less do they see any need actually to explore the subject: so they become trapped into one point of view
“The need is to UNTHINK what has previously been thought and explore other options”
